Antique Plaza

A couple of weekends ago, Jayare and I stopped into the Antique Plaza in Downtown Mesa. We were searching for gifts to either get each other or to try and find a bigger gift to get together for Valentine's Day. Sometimes we'll do a weekend getaway and sometimes we agree to not get something for each other, but that's never fun! It wasn't hard for me to find so many things that I liked. Jayare, however, is a much more practical shopper and not as much of a collector of random pretty things, like I am. He found a few books and I found an *amazing* cape. Check out the rest of our adventure in the photographs below.

I'm a camera collector, but I don't like paying antique store prices. I can find a cool camera thrifting pretty easily.

Jayare found these Interlocking Heart Goblets for $25.00 (Booth #811), which would have been a perfect valentine's Day gift except that we hardly ever drink so it would kind of be useless. They would have looked so pretty on display though!

Briday Party Paper Dolls from the late 1960s. I totally emember playing with dress up paper dolls when I was little, but that was the 80s. These outfits are wayyy better!

I love this front cover!

The reason for this photograph was to remind myself to go back to this case and get that whistle necklace. Darnit! Maybe it'll still be there next time I'm in?

And here's the lovely cape that I got. So bright and pretty!

I ended up falling in love with this Pendleton Cape. I love it and I'll be sure to have it in an outfit post soon. We found some books with beautiful bird illustrations and took those home as well. It was a fun adventure to the Antique Plaza. Be sure to pay them a visit during your next trip to Downtown Mesa!
